Winter Blues

Cabin fever is settling in. I actually enjoy walking William to the corner every morning just to be outside. It could be cloudy and below freezing but at least I'm outside. I love having the sun on my face, it just wakes up my soul.

I've been taking advantage of the long hours inside by trying to clean and organize things that have been on my to-do list for a long time. I'm making a recipe book and I need to print out my house organizer pages since I have the binder finished.

I know we have a few more months of the winter weather but I'm just hoping that at least the sun is out in the morning to greet me and put a smile on my face.

Back to Normal Live...

We got home from our trip from Vegas a few days ago. I just now feel that everything is back to normal. The house is clean, homework is done, laundry is put away. This was the first trip in a long long time that was relaxing. No the kids were not perfect. No my in-laws did not get on my nervouse. But it was alright. I just took a deep breath and moved on.

I can really tell my mood has changed. Not only by the response on the trip, but my new excitement about creating. I've been working on my Scrapbooks again and really enjoying it. I found a great photography class on-line at 2Ps and I'm finally understanding my camera. I also contacted a school to look into taking class in the fall.

Life is good! :)

Snow Day

WOW! What a perfect winter day! We got about 12 inches of snow and it was the perfect texture for making snowmen and forts. I couldn't wait to go outside with the boys. It was very hard for Logan to walk in the deep snow. William and Kyle ran out and enjoyed playing on the slide. I started making a snowman and fort but the boys didn't want to help. They said it would take too long. Shortly after that they wanted to go back inside. I couldn't believe it. As a child I would be out in the snow all day. My mom would have to drag me in. Every kid in the neighborhood would be outside making forts, play games and just enjoying the wonderful snow. It was very disappointing that they didn't feel the same way. Maybe in a few years they will feel differently.

Either way, I enjoyed the short time I got to play.
