Happy New Year

I will not be around for a few days, so I wanted to send out a special wish that your New Year is filled with joy, happiness and love. Hope to see you around in 2012!!

If you are heading to a party for New Years Eve here are two of my favorite dip recipes.

Spinach Dip (pampered chef)

1 10 oz. package frozen chopped spinach, thawed/drained
1 cup mayonnaise
1 1/4 cup sour cream
1 8 oz. can water chestnuts, drained chopped
1 1.4 oz. package Knorr vegetable soup mix
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Mix all ingredients. To serve hot, spread on little bread slices and place in 375 oven for 10 minutes. or serve cold with crackers or bread slices.

Chicken Spread 

8 oz. cream cheese
small onion, finely chopped
small can 4.25 oz canned chicken
1 T. mayonnaise
1 T. soy sauce

Blend all ingredients together with a hand mixer until creamy. Serve with crackers.
